What to expect

The Softwave TRT procedure averages 10-15 minutes but may be longer depending on the treatment area and diagnosis. Ultrasound gel is applied to the area to be treated. The applicator produces pulses as the specialist moves around the treatment area. During the session, communication with the specialist is necessary to identify treatment areas and monitor progress.


Are there any downsides to Softwave TRT?

The primary downside is that currently this treatment is not covered by insurance, but treatments are very affordable. Secondly, depending on the condition and severity treatments can be somewhat uncomfortable and can increase after treatment for a short time.


Are there any contraindications?
